Abhay Abhiyan : (Fear free learning campaign)

Corporal punishment is an issue which is an impediment in a child's learning process and it is this issue that some teachers, experts and like-minded individuals have taken up through the forum called Abhay Abhiyan. As Zensar Foundation has been running sustainable educational projects for over four years now, it was one of the key concerns for us at the Foundation, one which could not be over looked. It was with this view that the Foundation became an active member of the Forum and has been campaigning against corporal punishment for over a year. The Foundation along with other members of the forum has been actively conducting awareness programmes in various PMC schools across the city for teachers, parents and students.

Blood Donation Camps at Campus

In India, someone, somewhere needs blood every second and people often consider it as there right to receive blood when needed, but don't often consider the responsibility of giving blood to maintain the community supply for others. It is this need that we at the Foundation recognize and aim to fulfill by organizing a number of successful blood donation camps at our Campus in Kharadi. Through the years we have associated with various blood banks in the city like Jana Kalyan Blood Bank, Sassoon Hospital Blood Bank and The Acharya Blood Bank to help them meet the ever increasing demand of blood.

Aids Charity Run :

Zensar Foundation has been associated with Project Concern India, an NGO working on HIV/AIDS awareness for several years now and has been working towards HIV/AIDS awareness in the municipal schools and colleges. As an extension of this activity, the Foundation has been encouraging participation of its associates in the Pune HIV/AIDS Awareness Charity Run for the past 4 years. The run aims at generating awareness about HIV/AIDS and the collections from this run are donated to Project Concern International.
